As part of our Comprehensive Audit set, the Conflict Audit keeps track of conflicts occurring in the organisation and importantly, costs it in bottom line terms. Its outcomes provide:
- Identification of the prevalence, behavioural manifestations and causes of conflict
- Indications of those management and environmental factors that may be provoking conflict
- An understanding of the financial benefits of dealing with conflict
On average, as much as two hours a week are lost through conflict in the workplace*. Conflict in any organisation is inevitable, and is usually dealt with reactively; treating conflict as a core business issue and monitoring it accordingly can lift the whole culture of an organisation.
The Conflict Audit is carried out by our specialist sister company, Human Potential Accounting (HPA). It is a well researched, simple and easily administered tool, that opens the way for in-house specialists to take further as they wish.
How it Works
- HPA consultants help you select, out of the factors and sub-factors, those that are most relevant to your business; this may include a review of the organisations conflict management techniques and MI reports.
- Quantitative assessment will give useful information on six factors of conflict including hot spot conflict areas, the type of conflict occurring and the channels through which this takes place.
- We help to establish the antecedents of conflict in the working environment, and the consequences of dealing with it, in engaged and productive behaviour.
